Claudia de Fôret is an independent curator and educator. Born and raised in California, she received a Double Bachelors from the University of California Irvine and then went on to first gain experience in Contemporary Art at 18th Street Art Center in Santa Monica, Subsequently, she attended and was selected as one of the participants for the international curatorial program at L'Ecole du Magasin in Grenoble, France. Since then, she has been involved in independent art projects and public programming in Arizona working with various institutions, along with contemporary and street artists to promote a national and international presence of contemporary art in Arizona. Currently, her interests involve avant-garde architecture, minimalism as well as exploring the concept of various interpretations of landscapes and architecture represented within art.
